Overview
The International Conference on Development Economics and Sustainability (ICDES) is an international event organized by the Department of Economics, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Indonesia. This conference is designated to address various issues and studies related to the topics of development economics and sustainability. The Main Theme of ICDES is “Navigating Sustainable Development through Institutional Innovation and Human Capital Empowerment”. It consists of two main activities, namely plenary talks and parallel sessions. The plenary talks serve as a scientific forum enabling mutual information exchange and discussion among participants with diverse stakeholder backgrounds and expertise regarding the latest, globally relevant issues in the fields of development economics and sustainability.
