The Oman College of Management and Technology (OCMT) is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd International Research Conference – OCMT’2026, themed:

 “2nd International Research Conference for Smart Technologies and Sustainable Strategies in Design, Management, and Computing (OCMT’2026)”

 Building upon the success of OCMT’2025, this year’s conference continues the mission of fostering international collaboration, advancing multidisciplinary research, and promoting sustainable and ethical innovation across academia, industry, and society.

OCMT’2026 is jointly organized by the Department of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Department of Computer Science and Management Information Systems, and Department of Design. The conference provides a dynamic platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to exchange ideas and showcase emerging technologies shaping the future of enterprise, education, and sustainable development.

Conference Goals

OCMT’2026 seeks to:

  • Promote multidisciplinary innovation in design, business, computing, and higher education;
  • Advance AI and digital transformation responsibly and ethically;
  • Support Oman Vision 2040 through research that fosters economic diversification and human capital development; and
  • Strengthen regional and international research collaborations that create tangible social and economic impact.

 Publication Opportunity

All papers accepted for OCMT’2026, following the double-blind peer-review process, will be published in the OCMT’2026 Conference Proceedings, indexed by Scopus, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink.

In addition, selected high-quality papers presented at the conference will be considered for further development and potential publication in the prestigious international journals of our partner publishers — Springer and Emerald. Editors may invite authors whose work demonstrates exceptional originality and quality to expand their papers by 40–50%, revising the title, abstract, and methodology to meet journal submission standards.

Moreover, to promote regional and bilingual research dissemination, Arabic-language papers of high academic quality will also be published in the OCMT’2026 Conference Proceedings, ensuring inclusivity and wider accessibility for both Arabic and English-speaking scholarly communities.
